1.Choose pick up and drop off place and time and select a car group.
2. Choose your car and click on "Go".
3. Insert your personal dates and read and accept terms and conditions.
4. Select payment online or payment on arrival.
- Can I make a reservation without being registered at Amigoautos?
To make a reservation on our website it is not necessary to be registered at Amigoautos.
Nevertheless the registered clients have advantages for being a client of amigoautos.com.
- How can I check if my car is confirmed?
We will send you confirmation by email.
You are also able to monitor its status via the "my account" section at the top of our home page. Simply enter the following information: your email adress and your birthday.
- Is my on request booking "RQ" available?
If you have booked online and you have an on request booking we will send you confirmed voucher to your email adress. You are also able to monitor its status via the "My account" section at the top of our home page.

If your booking is not available we will send you an email informing you about the non availability and you can check status at my account section.
You will be contacted, however, within 48 hours of the creation date.
- I have not received the confirmation email. What should I do?
Verify your emailadress. If you have made a booking over 24 hours ago and you have not received our confirmation email, the most likely possibility is that our email was blocked by the Anti-Spam service of your email account. Please, check if the confirmation email is not in the "SPAM" , "Junk Mail" or "Unwanted Mail" file of your email account. If you cannot find the confirmation email anyway, please contact by choosing "Contact" at our homepage.
- How long can the period of rental be?
· You can make a booking of Max 30 days.
· Should you need the vehicle longer,please get in contact with us before ending contract .
- Can I book a car for today?
Web bookings can be made up to 2 hours before collection from certain locations.
- How do you count the days of the car hire exactly?
The days are counted in sections of 24 hours from the daytime of pick up. Partial days must be paid full for reaseons of insurance.
- When must I pay my reservation done on your web?
We offer two possibilities:
1.Payment online(on the arrival only you have to pay extras and fuel)
2.Payment on arrival(payment on arrival, extras and fuel)
In both cases its mandatory pay with creditcard(Visa or Mastercard)We dont accept cash.
- May I choose the model of the vehicle?
No. You can only choose the cargroup. Models, colours or fuel type is never confirmed.
- How can I change some dates in my booking?

- How can I extend my booking?
In case of extension (see Web), please, take notice that you are required to go to an office of our partner before the end of the rental period to sign the new contract. On the contrary, all insurances (CDW, TP, Windows/Tires, etc.) lose their validity and, occasionally, there’s an extra charge per day (aprox. 20€), for late extension.
- How do I ask for an invoice of my booking?
1-If you have a prepaid booking (WP...), please, contact us by choosing "Contact" at our homepage and introduce your reservation number and fiscal information.
We will send you your invoice by email.
2-If you have a booking to be paid on arrival, please, ask our partner directly for the invoice at the moment you pay the rental on arrival.
- How do I cancel my booking or get a refund?
Please go on our website and select "My account".Only you must enter your emailadress and your date of birthday.Now you can see all your reservations done and cancel.If you reserved your car by prepayment we reimburse your creditcard for the cancelled reservation.No cancellationfee.
- Is it possible to modify or cancel my prepaid reservation after being confirmed?
If you reserved your car by prepayment and your need to change info that modifies the reservation, please realise a new reservation and cancel the initial one.

- Which documents are necessary to hire a car?
The original of a valid passport (As well necessary for additional drivers). The original of a valid driving license. (As well necessary for additional drivers). A valid credit card.
- How old do I have to be to rent a car?
Generally, if you are aged between 21 and 75 you are able to book online. However there are partners that require minimum 25 years, etc. Please, check also minimum possession of driving licence required.

You may still be able to rent a car however an additional surcharge may be incurred to partly cover additional insurance and will be payable to the local car rental partner
- What kind of insurance can I get to rent a car?
The coverage of the insurance changes according to the supplier.

- I need to reserve a babyseat. When do I reserve?
It is necessary to request it at the moment you make the reservation.
Our partner will have the babyseat prepaired when you pick up the vehicle.
- It is possible to include a luggagerack for the car in my booking?
We dont offer this service. Nevertheless, at the general terms and conditions you can find info about the possibility to contract on arrival.

- It is possible to add a second driver to my booking?
Yes you can add a second driver in the moment when you pick up the car.
- At the airport, where do I get the car?
Locations will vary depending on car rental partner, but most are located at the arrivals hall, if not they will have a courtesy bus to their nearby office.
Specific details of the location of your car rental office will be included on the rental voucher sent to you once you have booked.
- Is it possible to pick up the car at the hotel?
You can pick up the car at your hotel with some of our partners.
There is always an extra charge for this service.

- Can I return the vehicle in a different office then it was rented?How much does it cost?
If you want to return the vehicle in another office then where you want to pick up, simply indicate the corresponding offices when you begin the process of reservation at our Homepage.The system automatically will inform you if the route that you have chosen is possible. In case there is an extra charge for one way we will indicate it in the terms and conditions of your reservation. Almost all our suppliers offer National One Ways (inside the same country) between all his offices, except between the continent and the islands and vice versa. Sometimes a minimum rentalperiod is required.
- If I don’t know my flightnumber (yet). What can I do?
If you don’t know your flightnumber (yet), you can put PENDING in stead of flightnumber.
If you are not going to have a flightnumber, you can put WALK-IN in stead of flightnumber
- Who can drive the car?
The principal driver is the person who have made the reservation online. It is possible to add a second driver. It is necessary to present the driving licence for all drivers.
- Can I cross the border with my vehicle?

- Do I have to leave a deposit?

If you have an insurance with excess, our partner requires this quantity (on your credit card) as a guarantee. Generally, you have the possibility to pay an extra charge to eliminate/reduce the excessamount.
- Tank of fuel
At the general terms and conditions of your booking or quote, you can find detailed information.
For Spain generally counts (but always check your booking terms and conditions!):
- For rentals up to 3 days, possibility of refund deposit proportional to quantity fuel left in Tank (1/2, ¼, etc).
- If the rental is for 4 days or more, there will be a charge for the full tank of fuel, which must be returned as empty as possible. No refunds will be made for unused fuel.
- Fuel will have to be paid at the beginning of the rental period (between 50€ and100€ depending on the cargroup)
- Is it possible to reduce the excessamount of my insurance?
